It is not uncommon for Internet users to only review the first few results when they search for a particular term. Catering your search engine optimization strategy efforts only to the Google algorithm will probably lower your search results. At the same time, focusing only on the users will ignore some of Google’s page rank algorithm which will keep your page from ranking as well as it could. Users will occasionally come to a page that doesn't exist on your site, either by following a broken link or typing in the wrong URL. Having a custom 404 page that kindly guides users back to a working page on your site can greatly improve a user's experience. Your 404 page should probably have a link back to your root page and could also provide links to popular or related content on your site. Copy what works but don’t follow the crowd: Find a good stream that isn’t overfished; stand where the current runs strongest; and use the right bait.

Since evergreen content will help you improve your SEO ranking, it goes without saying that you will drive more traffic to your blog. Inbound links refer to links on other websites which point to your website. Query refinements are the queries searchers type in after doing an initial search. The back story of duplication

The user’s keywords are typically shown in boldface when they appear in the search results (sometimes close synonyms are shown in boldface as well). You can think of importance as a way to determine which page, from a group of equally relevant pages, shows up first in the search results, which is second, and so forth. Websites that receive many inbound links can be more likely to rank higher in search engines. Basically, inbound links tell site crawlers that your website is an authority on a certain subject -- so the more inbound links you have from high quality, high authority sites, the better your website can rank in search engine results pages (SERPs). These links can get you a Google penalty and severe (if not 100%) loss of organic traffic. Many businesses assume that optimising for search engines is an instantaneous fix. Ideally, if you’re running your own small business, doing your own writing establishes you as the authority.
